Information note:
The Mutnovskiy volcano.
The territory of the volcano Mutnovskiy is simply vast, this is the best place for skiing and
snowboarding.
The competitions annually take place here.
There is enough place to crave one's way, everyone can find a route appropriate to his level.
The view of this mountain range will take even the skilled snowboarder's breath.
In this area it is possible to make the descending from the volcanoes: Mutnovskiy (it is in 70 kms
to the south from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy).
The absolute height - 2323 m, relative height of the volcano is - 1500 m.
It takes 20 minutes by helicopter to get to the volcano from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
The Viluchinskiy volcano(2741 m)
The absolute height of the Viluchinskiy - 2175m. The steepness of the slopes - 15-35.
The length of the slopes accessible for skiing at approximate - 2000m.
It takes about 20 minutes to get to the volcano from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy by helicopter.
The Goreliy volcano (the volcano Goreliy is in the south of Kamchatka in 75 kms,
it is in the south-west from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. The absolute height of the central cone is 1829 m.
It takes 25 minutes to get to the volcano from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
Itinerary:
Day 1.
Arrival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchanskiy.
Acquaintance wiht the guides. Testing of equipment. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2.
Early in the morning flight by helicopter to the camp Rodnikovaya.
Flight by helicopter Mi-8 to the active volcano Mutnovskiy.
Descent ski/snowboard. Flight to the volcano Goreliy. Termal hot springs.
Lodging in the camp Rodnikovaya. Overnight (travel houses).
Day 3.
Flight to the volcano Viluchinskiy. Descent.
On the return way landing in Viluchinskie hot springs, taking of a hot spring bath.
Return to the camp. Overnight (travel houses).
Day 4.
Flight to the active volcano Avacha. Ski or snowboard descent.
After skiing taking of a bath in springs. Return to the camp Rodnikovaya. Overnight (travel houses).
Day 5.
Flight to volcano or hill you liked most of all,
where you wiil be able to ski along vertical slope extended for 3000 - 10000 feet.
Lodging in the camp Rodnikovaya. Overnight (travel houses).
Day 6.
Early in the morning flight by helicopter in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
City-tour, sightseeing. Overnight in the Paratunka Hot Springs Resort Hotel (Paratunskaya zone).
Day 7.
Departure.
The cost includes:

Recommendations for the route:
According to its complication it refers to noncategorinie, but it containes a lot of
natural obstacles. People, who need treatmet and constant
medical observation, should not take part in touristic routes.
It is important:
1. in accordance with the wishes of the group, the duration of the route can be changed, other scaling objects can be added or some volcanoes can be removed from the route.
Helicopter flying time can be increased for additional payment. The helicopter is equiped with all the necessary life-saving and communication means.Guides are professional mountain-climbers and skiers.
List of the recommended equipment:
1. Footwear: light trekking boots and gaiters are good for these routes. It is desirable to have Gore-Tex boots, or well impregnated leather boots. High hip-boots are good too. Ankle-high Gore-Tex boots. It is necessary to take high hip-boots two size larger than you have, in order you can wear them with a thick felt insole and two socks (one is thin and another is warm) or with foot binding. It is desirable to have light trainers for the walk in the bivouac and during the transfers.
2. Sleeping-bag + rug (it's desirable)
3. Personal crockery (travel mug, bowl, spoon, fork)

6. Clothing: field dress - trousers
+ weatherproof jacket (made of thick cloth - light tarpaulin,
moisture- wind-proof cloth and so on) is preferable, because it is ventilated,

8. It's desirable to have a big rain-coat, covering the traveler with the rucksack. Underwear (thin flis, wool mixture and so on)
